The Information Technologies for Industry specialty offers you advanced training to develop professionally in the field of Industry 4.0. Through the content of its subjects, you will acquire the key knowledge, competencies, tools, and methods to specialize in:

  • Data acquisition through digital systems, sensorization, and industrial communication networks.
  • Information processing and treatment in industrial computing environments.
  • Data analysis applying advanced statistics and Machine Learning techniques.
  • Security monitoring and predictive maintenance of industrial systems, assets, and plants.
  • Integral management of the logistics and supply chain.
  • Advanced automation of production processes.

How you will learn

The specialty consists of 6 subjects of 5 ECTS each covering the necessary content to learn how to: acquire data through sensors, process it with industrial computers, analyze the data to extract knowledge for system security monitoring, perform predictive maintenance, and achieve optimal management of the production chain and its automation.

The objective is not only to acquire knowledge but also to develop competencies and skills for solving challenges and projects, and to generate new mechanical systems useful for the future.

Learning is carried out by combining various methodologies including, among others, master classes, teamwork, autonomous work, case analysis, simulations, and projects.
