Electrical Engineering
Electrical engineering is a broad and complex field of knowledge that integrates power electrical systems as well as the electromechanical and electronic devices that are part of them.
Electrical grids are in constant evolution, and in current ones, there is an increasing presence of renewable generation that enhances their complexity. Therefore, to carry out proper operation, control, or planning, it is necessary to understand the classical electrical system, as well as the new technologies being connected and the analysis techniques that allow for their study.

Taking the Electrical Engineering specialty offers you the learning of the necessary tools for the design and analysis of power electrical systems and their components. You will acquire knowledge to design, operate, control, and protect its components, including machines, converters, and electrical drives, while integrating information and communication technologies.
How you will learn
The specialty consists of 6 subjects of 5 ECTS each that cover the necessary content to gain expertise in the field of electrical engineering, focusing on the disciplines of electrotechnics, automation and control, electronics, optimization, and computer science.
Theoretical and practical sessions are combined, promoting Project-Based Learning, so that students learn actively by researching, collaborating, and creating products or solutions based on real industrial questions or challenges.
