There are several more or less well-known freeware lighting calculation and allow easy access to their tutorials , written or audiovisual form , but we have a comparison between them for guidance on what is most appropriate to meet the needs of our project. This paper analyzes three of the most used in the School of Architecture of Barcelona programs , assessing their performance and aspects of the data provided , in order to know their qualities and recommend its use to the needs of every lighting project . Nocturnal landscapes and its image, the correct way to illuminate them, new urban trends, sustainability, are issues that are part of current architectural issues. This project aims to study the lighting as an essential element, characterizing and coordinator of nocturnal landscapes and image of the city.

The scope of the elective course Lighting in architecture at the Faculty of architecture, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia tries to address some important issues regarding the role of light and lighting in a man-made environment. The course takes place every winter semester for last 12 years. During this period it has remarkably influenced professional awareness about importance of light and lighting in the educational process.
My motivation behind this work is to comprehend the emotional reactions that a person has when occupying a space, depending on the interior lighting of said space. Also, to observe how the different ways of lighting a space can have an effect, with attention to aspects like the formal relation of the luminaries and the space, or the chromatic relation of materials and light.

When we use the term dynamic lighting we are referring, not only to the possible variations of luminance parameters provided by luminaries but , more specifically, to the dynamism innate in the observer, produced by the mobility of his eyes and of the observer himself in a space, be it interior or urban.
